Where It All Began
This April marks eleven years since I opened the doors of Ebony Cattouse Events and I want to take a moment to pause, reflect, and celebrate what this journey has truly meant.
What started as a deep passion for design, hospitality, and the art of bringing people together has grown into something I could not have fully imagined at the beginning. ECE was born from a belief that every celebration deserves thoughtful intention that the details matter, that the atmosphere matters, and that the people gathered in a room deserve an experience tailored entirely to them.
Over the past eleven years, we have had the extraordinary privilege of doing exactly that, again and again.
The Work That Shaped Us
Every event we have had the honor of designing has taught us something. The ballroom weddings that required months of meticulous orchestration. The intimate gatherings where every floral stem was placed with purpose. The couples who trusted us to hold their vision and returned years later to celebrate with their families.
From the sweeping grandeur of New York City's most iconic venues to the warmth of the Caribbean and elegance of the Texas market, ECE has grown with intention. We have expanded not simply in geography, but in the depth of what we offer 2D and 3D design renderings that allow clients to see their dream before a single chair is set, an in-house inventory that gives us the creative freedom to execute without compromise, and a suite of services designed to meet clients wherever they are in their planning journey.
These are not just business milestones. They are the result of listening closely to every couple, every client, and every guest who has ever walked into an ECE-designed experience.
